The findings of the survey will inform the roadmap being prepared by the Organization to improve the quality of the Programme, in particular by taking steps to ensure the strict application of criteria for approving the creation of the Chairs and Networks; better monitoring and evaluation of their performance; strengthened synergies and cooperation among Chairs/Networks and UNESCO; and closer monitoring of the use of UNESCO's name and logo. A new list of Chairs and Networks will then be published by UNESCO. Input is solicited from existing UNESCO Chairs / UNITWIN Networks and from National Commissions for UNESCO.
