Dear Colleagues,

 

Subject: Nominations for Membership of ANSTI Governing Council

 

Three positions on the ANSTI Governing Council will fall vacant at the end of 2007.  They are the representatives for the West African region, the East African region and the Southern African region.

 

The West African region is currently represented by the School of Engineering of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.  While the East African region is represented by College of Engineering at the University of Dar es salaam.

 

The Southern African region is represented by the Dean of Engineering at Tshwane University of Technology.

 

Nominations are invited to fill these positions.  All ANSTI institutional members in good standing will be eligible for election.  The list of institutions in good standing is attached.

 

The deadline for nomination is 15th September 2007.

 

Nomination can be sent by email to the address given below.

 

Each candidate should be nominated by two member institutions from its region.

 

ANSTI is an institutional Network.  Hence the nomination will be that of the Head of its institutional member (i.e. Dean, Faculty of Science, Provost, and Principal College of Science).  You will not be nominating an individual, rather you will nominate an institution to present your interest.  Election will be done at the COVIDSET 2007 meeting in Midrand - South Africa on 27th September 2007.
